Hi, we're so glad you're here! Simply Shine Word Art Tees started with a simple idea: the right words, worn close, can genuinely change your day.
Every design starts as a watercolour painting — real paint, real paper, a little imperfect in all the best ways — before it's digitised and DTG (direct-to-garment) printed onto your tee using water-based ink, a gentler, more sustainable printing method. So when you wear one of our designs, you're wearing something that started as art, not a font.
We're a small, independent business, and every tee is printed to order just for you, on soft, organic cotton from Stanley/Stella, a certified sustainable brand. We chose them because we wanted these tees to feel as good ethically as they do on your skin.
Making to order means nothing is wasted, nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be forgotten, and every single piece has a person waiting for it. It's a little slower — but honestly, we think that's the point.
A note from the founder, Anna Nugent (wearing an early prototype of an OG "Hope" design):
I started Simply Shine Word Art Tees because I wanted wearable empowerment — for myself and for others. Beautiful, fun reminders to be the change we want to see in the world, and to never give up on our dreams.
Most importantly, I wanted to do it with the smallest possible impact on the environment, and with ethical practices at every step. This is slow fashion — made with care, not mass-produced.
